my name is Petey. Petey was found as a stray and brought to a shelter. After a while there, he became traumatized and was whimpering and trembling. Pawesome Village came to his rescue and he was so grateful that he blossomed right away. Petey is very affectionate and has been friendly to every person and dog he has met. He loves his new freedom to explore and lounge in the yard. But he is a couch potato at heart and absolutely adores his people and relaxation time. Since he came to his foster only one week ago, he has learned to go outside to potty exceptionally well. He now only rarely uses the pad overnight or when left alone for a while. Petey absolutely loves his daily walks but we don’t go too far because of his short legs. He also loves car rides and will just sit happily watching everything. He doesn’t hear well but is very alert and he is the perfect sized low rider. Petey is a great easygoing, low maintenance guy that will be a wonderful companion pet for some lucky person or family.
